Per our mission to assist people dealing with emotional and anxiety syndromes, Mariah’s Studio offers a broad range of support. On this page, you can apply for grants, learn about fellowship opportunities, and discover our local outreach programs. Please check back for additional offerings throughout the year.

Grants

Mariah’s Studio provides targeted support grants to 501(c)(3) organizations, businesses and individuals.  Generally, grants are aimed at funding specific projects or programs that help people relieve anxiety and promote healing through participation in the arts.  For example, grants may be awarded to pay for event space, studio time, the purchase of equipment, and supplies.

Grants Administration Guide

Grant available for Spring 2026:

  • These targeted grants are designed to support new or subsidize existing initiatives that use art as a tool for mental health, connection, and/or community building.

    Eligibility: School teachers, artists, counselors, and community group leaders seeking to foster emotional expression, reduce isolation, or promote well-being through visual art, music, writing, or other creative practices.

    Grant Date: April 2026 – January 2027

    Grant Range: $500 - $2,500

    Reporting Schedule: Interim Report, Final Report submitted on or before January 1, 2027

    Required application information includes:

    1. Name and contact information (physical address, email and phone number)

    2. Organization name and address

    3. One or more paragraphs describing program or detailing need (include estimate of individuals helped)

    4. Amount of funding requested (include list of intended purchases)

    Don’t hesitate to apply. Mariah’s Studio is eager to support a wide breath of creative initiatives that support children, teens, adults and seniors.

Fellowships

Mariah’s Studio offers fellowships to students and therapists to help fund the cost of education.  For example, fellowships may subsidize the cost of a higher education program, to attend a conference, or participate in other forms of professional development. We have one fellowship available for the spring of 2026.

Fellowship available for Spring 2026:

  • This fellowship is aimed at helping future Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) fund an creative-arts focused education with up to $5000 in tuition funding.

    Eligibility: Students enrolled either full or part-time in UMF’s Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Creative Arts program

    Grant Date: April 2026 - January 2027

    Grant Range: up to $5000

    Reporting Schedule: No reporting beyond application required
